FMDASF Mission Statement

scholarship

 

The purpose of the Fund is to establish and maintain monies in a scholarship fund for the purpose of awarding grants to the dependents of veterans of the First Marine Division plus attached and supporting units, who are deceased, missing in action, or fully disabled. The operations of this Fund shall be limited exclusively to charitable, literary or educational purposes as those terms are used in Section 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Code (Code).

Inerim Chairman - James A. Fossos

 Vice-Chairman James A. Fossos is now the Interim Chairman of the FMDASF, Inc., until the board elects an FMDASF, Inc., replacement for Carl and when a new FMDASF, Inc., Chairman is elected, Jim will then slide back into the Vice-Chairman position as Jim does not want to be the Chairman for the next two years.

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation honors Marines by educating their children. Our scholarship programs cover a full range of certificate and degree programs.  These scholarships are available for sons and daughters of U.S. Marines and Navy Corpsmen, enrolled in post-secondary programs nationwide.
